Interesting museum
When I started to research my family history I discovered the Frenchay Museum Archives Website, which luckily had recorded parish records of Winterbourne.This has enabled me to trace my family back to 1678 in that area.I also visited the Museum and talked to the lovely staff there who put me in contact with a local man who actually lives in my Great, Great Grandmothers cottage, who then invited me to visit him.Wow - I can never thank the Frenchay Museum enough.
Good for an hour or two on a rainy day. Some really interesting things about the local area.
Worth a visit full of local history about a particular community.
