It's an old quarry under a viaduct! You will barely be able to contain your excitement!

Nice little nature reserve. Can walk around in 10 minutes then carry on down the river

Nice for short quiet walks (unless there is a train passing overhead). Lots of steps and slippery bits, but lots of nice habitats to explore and a place to paddle in the river. Access is via steps or stiles, so not appropriate for elderly or disabled. Some big drops (it was a quarry), so while kids will love to explore, you'll want to keep them close by.
